Molecular Motion Demonstrator
Procedure
- Place demonstrator on top of the overhead projector.
- Select the proper ball set and accessory for the theory you wish to demonstrate.
- Put the specified number and type of balls within the frame. Turn on
the motor and adjust the speed until the desired motion is achieved.
- Turn on and focus the overhead projector.
- The demonstrator is essentially a four-sided frame mounted over a glass
plate. A low-voltage D.C. motor vibrates the frame over a range of speeds.
