UCSD is nationally recognized for our high-quality undergraduate program. Curently there are over 1,100 majors in nine degree programs. In recent years, UCSD has ranked in the top five nationally in the number of students graduated with ACS-certified degrees, and often we rank Number 1! The majority of our undergraduates continue on to professional and graduate schools. All of our degree programs offer research and independent study experiences, which are so important in a student's preparation for continued education.
