Yale Alumnus Edward A. Dennis was awarded the Yale Medal on November 14. It is the highest award presented by Yale University to recognize and honor outstanding individual service to the university. Distinguished Professor Dennis currently serves on the University Council, and served on the Development and Alumni Affairs committee of the Yale Corporation and as Chair of the Association of Yale Alumni.
Professor Dennis was recently awarded an honorary Doctor of Medicine degree "Doctor Medicinae honoris causa" from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University of Frankfurt am Main during Academic Day ceremonies on November 25th in recognition of his outstanding research on lipid biochemistry.
