The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry Industrial Relations Office, under the direction of the Industrial Relations Committee, works to maintain and develop interactions and collaborations between the Department and the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. The goals of the office are:

• Publicize the Department and the achievements and scientific advancements of the faculty.
  
• Encourage collaborations and technology transfer between the Department and industry through meetings, seminars, and cooperative programs.
  
• Assist with the career placement and internship placement of undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral students in academic and industrial positions.
