Professor Joseph O'Connor wins 2012 Distinguished Teaching Award
Professor Joseph M. O'Connor has been selected by the Committee on Distinguished Teaching to receive a 2012 Distinguished Teaching Award. The award represents peer recognition that the recipient has achieved the highest level of teaching excellence. Professor O'Connor's name will bear the citation "Distinguished Teaching Award" in the UCSD General Catalog, and he will receive a $1500 cash award. Up to five members of the Academic Senate are selected each spring to receive this honor.
