  • American Chemical Society Student Affiliates (ACSSA)
    The ACS-SA holds frequent educational, career, outreach, and social events that bring together students, faculty, and industry. In fact, the ACS named them an Outstanding Chapter for the last four years in a row. 
  • UCSD Financial Aid Office
    Information on scholarships and fellowships is available at the UCSD Financial Aid Office and also in our CHEM Blog.
  • Admissions
    Prospective students apply to the campus, not to our department. The Admissions and Relations with Schools website provides Information on undergraduate admissions, transfer requirements, the six undergraduate colleges, student housing, student life, etc.

New Student Orientation Session

We are very excited to have you join the Chemistry & Biochemistry department this Fall! Please fill out this form to register for our optional New Student Orientation on Tuesday, September 20th from 1-3pm in Galbraith Hall 242. You will learn about your major and all the amazing staff, resources, and opportunities available to you!  

Please complete your COVID-19 Symptom Screening form prior to the event. Masking is currently optional except that it remains required in all indoor classroom/instructional settings, clinical areas, and on Triton/university transportation until further notice.

We were so happy to see all of you at the info sessions we held on Tuesday, August 2nd at 10AM and 2PM.
